Koruteq partnered with East Coast Car Rentals to design and deliver a fully integrated shuttle booking system in under three months. Leveraging TypeScript, Vue.js, Java, SQL, CI/CD, AWS Cloud (HA/DR), GitHub, and Twilio, the solution included a customer-facing booking app, a real-time admin portal, and a driver tablet application. This digital upgrade reduced inbound call volumes, boosted operational visibility, and streamlined shuttle coordination across 14 national locations. Ongoing platform enhancements continue to elevate customer experience and fuel business growth. Koruteq was founded by an experienced travel industry executive and a senior systems engineer who witnessed firsthand the IT challenges faced by growing businesses. While working together in a leading New Zealand tourism company, they encountered constant IT demands, limited internal capacity, and the high cost of expanding local teams. Outsourcing directly to offshore providers felt risky, lacking the reassurance of local support.
Determined to find a better way, they established Koruteq— a business that combines the reliability of local client management with the cost-efficiency and expertise of offshore development talent.
